The State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP) and Saudi Food and Drug Authority signed the bilateral documents, that ensure export of domestic poultry and poultry products from Ukraine to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Head of SSUFSCP Volodymyr Lapa informed about it during the press conference on 10^th of April.

In framework of the visit of Govermental Delegation to Saudi Arabia (Riyadh), competent authorities of Ukraine and Saudi Arabia have signed the new form of Health certificate for export poultry meat and meat products from Ukraine to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Protocol of health requirements for the import of poultry meat and its products into Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. ²We have committed to the Saudi Arabia on compliance with requirements for domestic poultry and its guarantee ² - stated Volodymyr Lapa.

In addition, during the visit the issue about inspection by Saudi experts of Ukrainian beef producers in the framework of export-enhancing of these products to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was discussed.

As previously reported, currently four Ukrainian establishments are approved export poultry meat and its products to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Ukraine is interested in increasing the list of these companies and to expand the range of food products, exported to Saudi Arabia.

The new form of veterinary certificate was published on the website of SSUFSCP in the heading ² International co-operation² - ²Veterinary Service and Food Safety².
