SSUFSCP intensifies anti-corruption direction of its activities. This was stressed by Head of the SSUFSCP Volodymyr Lapa during the press conference "Year of SSUFSCP work: results and plans", held on April 10 in Kiev.

"Fighting against corruption is one of SSUFSCP priorities", - said Volodymyr Lapa.

In particular, it will be reflected at the level of structure of Service - sector on corruption prevention will be reorganized into the Unit with strong professional staff.

"I have no illusions that we completely overcome the problem with corruption. There are more than 7 thousand employees in the Service, and these risks are taking place – for example time to time, we can see dishonest inspectors have been detained at the different regions of Ukraine"– said Volodymyr Lapa.

According to his words, reaction on cases like this is present.

Work is conducting through increasing employees' motivation, awareness company, as well as introduction of procedures of video fixation of inspections carried out by the specialists of SSUFSCP.

In particular, we have great expectations on the pilot project of video fixation of planned and unplanned inspections, which has started in Kyiv and Kyiv region, and is going to be extended on whole territory of Ukraine.

"We try to influence on causes of this problem but not on consequences. Of course, this will not solve 100% of the problem, but at least 50% will be done", - stated Volodymyr Lapa.
