The 32ndInternational Organic Trade Fair Biofach eSpecial 2021takes place online from 17 to 19 February 2021, bringing together more than 1,300 exhibitors from 83 countries.
The State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection is participating in Biofach eSpecial 2021 with support of the Swiss-Ukrainian Project “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine” financed by Switzerland and implemented by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Switzerland) in partnership with SAFOSO AG (Switzerland).
The Ukrainian National Pavilion Organic Ukraine Business Hubat Biofach eSpecial 2021 is organised by the Organic Ukraine Non-Governmental Organisation of Producers of Organic Certified Productswith the support of the USAID CEPProject. Partners in the Ukrainian National Pavilion preparation are the Swiss-Ukrainian Program “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine”and the Export Promotion Office of Ukraine.
During the opening ceremony, there was an active discussion of problems and prospects for the development of the organic sector in Ukraine.
“We have started many organic projects. It should be mentioned that the berry market, a project that we initiated with the University of Bern and which concerned the production and export of our organic berries and fruits. I am very proud that I was able to support and open this part of the market”,- noted Vladyslava Magaletska.
The Ukrainian National Pavilion at the Biofach eSpecial 2021 gathers 22 leading Ukrainian companies that offer:
• 200+ organic products,
• 60+ inputs authorized for organic production,
• 10+ specialized services to develop the organic market.
