This year, the ninth new export market for Ukrainian products has been opened. It is the export of poultry meat, offal and other products from Ukraine to the Sultanate of Oman. This step was made possible after the veterinary requirements and the form of the relevant certificate were agreed upon between the competent authorities of both countries.
As of now, Ukrainian exporters are able to supply poultry products to the Sultanate of Oman that meet the country's veterinary and sanitary requirements, including the conditions of production, processing, transportation, packaging and marking.
Head of the SSUFSCP Serhii Tkachuk emphasized: "Opening the market of the Sultanate of Oman is another important step in expanding Ukraine's export opportunities. This is the result of systematic cooperation between the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and diplomatic missions. Together we continue to open new horizons for Ukrainian agricultural exports."
The form of the veterinary certificate agreed with the Omani party is available on the official web portal of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection in the section: International cooperation → Veterinary and safety → Certificates for export from Ukraine
Thanks to this decision, Ukrainian producers will have access to a new prospective market, as well as consumers in Oman will be guaranteed safe and high-quality poultry products from Ukraine.
