On March, 17 the European Union has recognised Ukraine's zoning on Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI). This is extremely important for Ukrainian exporters. The reason was HPAI cases detected by SSUFSCP specialists at the territory of Ukraine.
The EU Decision will enter into force of March, 20.
«The recognition of zoning will give the opportunity for Ukraine to recoever its trade of poultry products with EU. This will enter into force and give the right to export from free zones, despite the fact that quarantine restrictions still acting in the zones, where disease cases had occured. - Said the Head of SSUFSCP - Mrs Magaletska. - That was quite challenging and longterm negotiations, however we did it. I appreciate everyone and congratulate all those who were involved."
SSUFSCP plays an important role in Ukrainian export of agriculture. Among others its crucial tasks are to overcome trade barriers and ensure the compliance with requirements of the importing country.
